Critical Math Tools Every Classroom
Needs to Have and Use Today!
Live Zoom Workshop
August 3, 2020 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (PST)

Fee for the workshop is $129 per person.

Come and share a virtual day with Kim Sutton and her motivating strategies for developing strong number sense through meaningful “hands on” experiences! You will love the math content that will focus on subitizing, place value, all four operations and fractions. You will leave with ideas galore that are ready for the new school year! Plan on being actively engaged in the making of math tools that will help all students understand the content that you teach! In this fast-paced day, you will learn the best math music and literature to use with the math tools we construct. You will love the emphasis on number lines—the single most powerful visual you can use in your class. Participants will be thrilled with the strategies for introducing the number line and extending into empty number lines! You will love how this will become a math routine next year. Kim Sutton will share how to successfully use the place value pockets and digit cards as tools for understanding place value at all grade levels. You will love how the Pattern Sticks solve the issues with math fact fluency in your classroom! See the connections with intensive math content. Watch the motivation go sky high in your classroom!
