What is Kakooma?
Kakooma challenges players to use simple addition to solve a series of seemingly easy, yet deceptively difficult puzzles. The rules are easy: just find the one number that is the sum of two others. Like all great puzzles, however, looks can be deceiving. Often, the answer is right in front of you, yet your brain won’t let you see it! Discover what thousands of Kakoom-ers have already figured out: Kakooma puzzles are annoyingly addictive, math-nificent, and brain-tastically fun for all ages. Best of all, they keep you mentally sharp and mathematically fit. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to Kakooma! Are all Kakooma puzzles created equal?
The puzzles in this book are grouped by difficulty. Pages 1-40 are the easiest and players must add numbers up to 25. Pages 41-80 are more difficult and players must add numbers up to 35. Finally, pages 81-120 are the most difficult and include numbers up to 50. But don’t worry, answers are provided in the back of the book! How to Kakooma
The objective is always the same: simply find two numbers that add up to a third number. Each puzzle contains 9 individual “puzzles within a puzzle.” Solve them all and create one final puzzle. When you’ve solved this last one you’re done - until the next page!

Kakooma challenges players to use simple addition to solve a series of seemingly easy, yet deceptively difficult puzzles. The rules are easy: just find the one number that is the sum of two others. Like all great puzzles, however, looks can be deceiving. Often, the answer is right in front of you, yet your brain won’t let you see it!Why Kakooma?
As they solve each puzzle, kids are actually performing dozens of calculations. Use them individually or in groups. Kakooma puzzles are the perfect alternative to traditional worksheets and drills. How are the puzzles organized?
The format of the puzzles differ both in the number of puzzle groups and the difficulty of the numbers used. Those with 4 groups of 4 numbers are easiest, followed by those with 5 groups of 5 numbers, 6 groups of 6 numbers, and so on. Puzzles with 9 groups of 9 numbers are the most challenging, but also the most fun. If you’re stumped, answers are provided on pages 61-63.
